The Crisis No One Is Talking About

Your Airway Is Silently Destroying Your Health

Modern medicine treats symptoms. The AOS Conference treats causes.

An entire generation is living with underdeveloped jaws, collapsed airways, and compromised sleep — manifesting as brain fog, chronic fatigue, anxiety, cardiovascular stress, and accelerated aging. And the clinical community is barely scratching the surface.

This is the intersection of biohacking and precision surgery that nobody in the mainstream is discussing yet. The clinicians who master airway-centered care right now will define the next decade of medicine.

90%

of adults show signs of jaw underdevelopment or airway restriction — according to Dr. Alfi's clinical observations across thousands of cases

1B+

people worldwide affected by sleep-disordered breathing, with structural airway obstruction as the leading underlying cause

0%

of traditional medical and dental training programs include comprehensive airway-facial form education

"Artificial intelligence now sees more in sleep data than ever before — yet structural airway health remains the unmovable foundation of human performance."

— Dr. David Alfi, DDS, MD, FACS · Conference Founder

Conference Founder & Host

Dr. David Alfi

DDS, MD, FACS — Columbia University

Board-Certified Diplomate, ABOMS

Assoc. Professor, Houston Methodist

Medical Director OMFS, Texas Children's

Pioneer — Custom Orthognathic Surgery

15+ Peer-Reviewed Publications

Early in his career, Dr. David Alfi focused purely on jaw alignment, function, and surgical precision. Then something shifted. Case after case, he saw the same pattern: misaligned jaws weren't just dental problems — they were the root cause of obstructed airways, disordered sleep, and compromised lives.

Trained at Columbia University in both dentistry and medicine, and having served at Houston Methodist and Texas Children's Hospital, Dr. Alfi didn't just observe this gap in care — he built the infrastructure to close it.

He pioneered a scar-free, intraoral approach to orthognathic surgery. He eliminated outdated protocols like wiring patients shut. He reduced 4-hour procedures to under 90 minutes. He published. He taught. And now, through the AOS Institute, he's gathering the world's foremost minds to accelerate what's possible.

"Double jaw surgery isn't just about alignment — it's about restoring the airway."

Common Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Who is this conference designed for?
+

The AOS Conference is built for oral & maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists, dentists, sleep medicine physicians, myofunctional therapists, and members of the general public with a serious interest in airway health, facial form, and the future of functional medicine. If you treat faces or airways — or are personally invested in optimizing your own health — this event is for you.

How many CDE/CME credits will I earn?
+

Attendees will receive 16 hours of continuing dental education (CDE) and continuing medical education (CME) credits across the two-day event. Detailed credit documentation will be provided to all registered attendees.

Why is capacity limited to 200 attendees?
+

This is an intentionally intimate event. The 200-person cap ensures direct access to faculty, meaningful networking, and the kind of deep clinical discussion that simply isn't possible in a 1,000-seat auditorium. Once tickets sell out, this inaugural experience cannot be replicated.

What's the difference between General Admission and VIP?
+

General Admission grants full conference access with all sessions, workshops, and 16 CDE/CME hours. VIP tiers unlock priority seating, exclusive networking receptions, private Q&A with faculty, concierge support, and for VIP+1, joint access for a guest or colleague. VIP seats are strictly limited.

Is this really the first conference of its kind?
+

Yes. The AOS Annual Meeting is the inaugural gathering of its kind — the first conference dedicated to the intersection of custom orthognathic surgery, airway diagnosis, and interdisciplinary care at this caliber of faculty and programming. There is no precedent for what is being built here.

Are there accomodations at 1 Hotel South Beach
+

1 Hotel South Beach is a full-service luxury resort. We strongly recommend booking accommodations early as room availability coincides with conference demand. Contact the hotel directly and reference the AOS Conference for applicable rates.

What if I'm a student or resident?
+

A dedicated student, resident, and general public pricing tier is available at a significantly reduced rate. This represents a rare opportunity for early-career clinicians to access this caliber of education and direct networking with faculty.
